Kazakhstan is by far the largest of the Central Asia's states of the former USSR. It has borders with Russia, China, and the Central Asian countries of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. It is the world's ninth biggest country by size, and it is more than twice the size of the other Central Asian states combined. Its lack of significant historical sites and endless featureless steppe have put many off Kazakhstan, while many still are captivated by the emptiness and mystery of this goliath state. It will be many travelers' first port of call on their Central Asian adventure, and there is much for the intrepid traveller to enjoy.

Morocco is in many ways a country apart. It nestles on the northwestern tip of Africa, separated from the rest of the continent by the towering Atlas Mountains and by the Sahara itself. Its climate, geography, and history are all more closely related to the Mediterranean than to the rest of Africa, and for this reason visitors are often struck by the odd sensation of having not quite reached Africa in Morocco. In the north, its fine beaches, lush highland valleys, and evocative old cities reinforce this impression. Yet, as one moves south and east, into and over the starkly beautiful ranges of the Atlases, Morocco's Mediterranean character melts away like a mirage. The Sahara stretches out to the horizon, and forbidding kasbahs stare.

That Nepal is one of the most amazing destinations on the planet is not surprising. With its exotic wildlife, lush jungles, diverse people, and rich culture, this lovely Himalayan Kingdom of high mountains and deep valleys is the dream destination for many holiday travelers. Nepal is the land of the sublime, the magical, the ethereal, and the surprising.
The Hill region, also known as Pahadi Bheg, is considered by locals as the heart of Nepal. Found in this region are the fertile valleys of Kathmandu and Pokhara, snow fed rivers, and high hills.
